Light The Night

It is my pleasure to serve once again as the
2026 National Light The Night Honorary Chair!

Join me as I  walk with fans, friends and families across the country in this year's
Light The Night Walk from Nashville on October 22nd, 2026!

The Light The Night Walk is the Blood Cancer United (formerly Leukemia & Lymphoma Society) evening walk and fundraising event to pay tribute and bring hope to people battling cancer. Thousands of participants raise funds for vital research and patient services and on these special nights they carry illuminated lanterns in support of those who have survived, those battling and those who have lost their fight with cancer.

Thanks to your generous support, we have raised over $2.5 million dollars in the past 13 years to help Blood Cancer United accelerate cures for leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma. A giant THANK YOU to ABC and “Who Wants to be a Millionaire?” for the opportunity to share my family's story and help other families in the ongoing fight against blood cancers. In 2013 I had the privilege to appear on the show and won $500,000 for LLS!

As a result of your involvement, hundreds of thousands of people diagnosed with blood cancer are today living normal, productive lives. We are on the threshold of amazing breakthroughs. Your money accelerates miraculous new treatments and healing therapies once thought impossible. My daughter Addie is herself a leukemia survivor. She has been healthy and cancer-free for over 22 beautiful years and is why I am honored to represent The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and help raise more funds for the life-saving research and patient family services LLS provides.

 For every $100 you raise as a walker or virtual walker, you will get one (1) entry to the GUITAR Giveaway AND a PERSONALIZED TEAM ADDIE t shirt (funds must be in your account for the shirt by 10/19/2026

• If you raise $750 or more as an individual walker, your entries double (2x). For example, if you raise $800, you will get 8 x 2 = 16 entries in all.– If you raise $1,500 or more as an individual walker, your entries triple (3x). For example, if you raise $1,650, you will get 16 x 3 = 48 entries in all.  You will also receive a personal video “Thank you” note from Charles Esten.
