'Nashville' Star Charles Esten Signs With APA for Music Representation

Since Esten's appearance on the drama series, he has performed hundreds of live concerts over the last six years, including three sold out Nashville In Concert shows at London’s Royal Albert Hall. He has also performed at the C2C Festival in the O2 Arena in England, the CMC Festival in Australia, Stagecoach in Southern California and CMA Fest in Nashville, as well as famed country venues including The Bluebird Café, The Ryman Auditorium and The Grand Ole Opry, where he made his 100th appearance last summer.


In January, Esten completed his first sold-out 12-city solo tour through the UK. and The Netherlands, with standing-room-only shows in Germany and plans to return to the U.K. this October.

Esten also made musical history when he earned a Guinness World Record title for his #EverySingleFriday campaign, which yielded 54 original songs that he wrote, recorded and released once a week for 54 consecutive weeks. The songs have already been streamed worldwide nearly 8 million times.

APA has signed Esten for music representation and he will continue to act. He will star in the upcoming Netflix young adult drama Outer Banks and have a recurring role on TNT’s Tell Me Your Secrets.


The Virginia native launched his acting career in Los Angeles before making his theatrical debut portraying Buddy Holly in London’s hit West End musical Buddy. Esten’s other credits include recurring roles on Disney Channel’s Jessie, HBO’s Enlightened and Big Love, and NBC’s ER, as well as feature credits including Swing VoteThirteen Days, and The Postman.
