Since its debut, the show has inspired 22 soundtracks, which have collectively sold more than one million album units and over 5 million single-track downloads to date.
The DKR Fund is a research fund granted solely to Texas-based institutions in efforts to research and learn more about the cause and effects of Alzheimer’s disease. The Fund was created to celebrate the legacy of the late, great University of Texas Football Coach Darrell K Royal. The coveted celebration brings admirers of Coach Royal and friends of the University of Texas institutions together in Austin to raise research dollars for medical research.
The 4th & Goal Gala will benefit UT Austin and UTSW O’Donnell Brain Institute neurological research in the areas of traumatic brain injury, Alzheimer's disease, related disorders, and the Edith T. Royal Caregiver Endowment for Family Support and Education. In past years, the Gala has raised over $1M annually for Alzheimer’s research.

Actor Charles Esten and Charlie Worsham visited with Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager on the Today show to talk all things Nashville ahead of tonight’s (Jan. 4) season six premiere.
When Kotb and Hager lamented over the fact that season six will be the show’s final season, Esten said he felt blessed to have been part of the series that meant so much to him and his family. His wife Patty and their three children were on set watching Esten’s interview from behind the scenes.
